Current Projects
Michelle founded Page2Stage Edinburgh in 2018 with support from Assembly Roxy in response to a lack of opportunities for creatives to develop and perform work and build networks here in Edinburgh.
P2S showcases extracts from 4 brand new plays, performed as rehearsed readings in front of a live audience and an industry panel providing dramaturgical feedback.
We then invite the audience, participants and panel to join is in the cafe bar to continue the conversation and make connections.
We first received Creative Scotland funding in 2021, which enabled us to re-launch after the pandemic, recieving further funding in 2023. This ensured that everyone was paid fairly for their participation, removing barriers to participation and building the P2S family.
In 2023 we partnered with the Traverse Theatre to host a new Page2Stage event, More Pages, where we showcased 2 pieces that have previously been performed at Page2Stage and developed into full length work.
P2S supports grassroots theatre providing an open-access route to connect and collaborate.
